Founded in 1971, with its main plant located in the city of Lorena – SP, Brazil, Cecal provides high technology components to steel and metal base industry, including zinc, aluminum and copper makers, reduction furnaces, among other industry fields.
Among our products, we provide a wide variety of high conductivity copper and copper alloys castings, cathodes for electrolysis, high electrical power transmission elements, and bimetallic plates produced by explosion welding (clads).
Cecal facilities include departments of copper and copper alloys foundry, precision machining, metal conformation and special welding, such as explosion welding.
All departments work together following a “complete-in-house” concept, monitored by a strict quality control that holds the most advanced equipment such as optical emission spectroscopy for instantaneous chemical analysis and digital radiography test performed in an underground bunker integrated to the production line.
The engineering department accesses advanced analysis and designing tools and keep a technical interface with the clients to identify new needs and to find new solutions and keep continuous improvements.
